“Rising Legends” K-pop audition hopefuls take Soompi by storm

Leading K-pop fan-site Soompi hosted “Rising Legends,” an all-new global audition event for K-pop star hopefuls that played out over the latter half of 2016. Around 5,000 entries and 1 million votes were received from around the world, with three talented contestants coming out on in each of the categories of singing, dance and rap.

Soompi, the world’s largest and longest running K-pop fan-site, was acquired by Rakuten Group company Viki in 2015.
