Millions of British women would not trust their partner to choose an outfit for them, according to new research commissioned by Rakuten Group company Fits Me, a provider of services that allow online shoppers to see exactly how garments would look and feel on them.

Eight in 10 females think their other half couldn’t be trusted to get them the perfect outfit – citing questionable taste among the most common reasons – while 76 per cent of men would have no qualms letting their significant other buy them something nice to wear without any input.
